Microsoft Ignite 2018 Recap

Microsoft Ignite

Professionals from around the globe stormed Orlando’s Convention Center last week to celebrate Microsoft Ignite. The primary intention for attendees was to learn more about Microsoft and their partner’s cutting-edge technologies. I did notice another intention, the desire for cool swag! Ziften’s stylish socks were a hit!

The Dream Team.

The Orange County Convention Center is the second largest convention center in the USA. It nearly required a break after walking the distance one way! After trekking across the hall and seeing countless innovators, I stumbled across our own booth highlighting our partnership with Microsoft, and the place where I would be spending the remainder of my week speaking with hundreds of awesome folks!

Microsoft hit the nail on the head with a chill Xbox zone that doubled as a place for participants to sit in comfortable chairs while providing headphones and access to the live panels.

Below is a Microsoft training mid-session. I was a bit envious I was unable to dedicate any time to these, but I was able to speak with many people who attended and came to ask specifically about how to enable their macOS and Linux machines into their WDATP console.

Everyone knows Disney is a place of magic, and you could definitely feel the synergy come to life inside the Microsoft Ignite conference this year. I look forward to seeing you all again next year! Or if you are in need of a single pane of glass for all your systems, our integrated Zenith security platform with Microsoft Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) is just the ticket. Feel free to reach out to Ziften for a free trial, and we can show you how Microsoft has made that dream become reality.
